Giving Back

Running with a Purpose

Organization for Autism Research

After participating in marathons around the world, I wanted to find a way to give my running purpose and impact beyond just self-accomplishments. I wanted to partner with an organization that works to make a positive impact in the lives of those who need it. That's where the Organization for Autism Research comes in.

1 in 54 children in the U.S. are diagnosed with autism, some early in life and some much later. With your donation, you will be supporting a broad community through OAR’s mission. They help to fund research and create resources that help people with autism and their families across all ages and spectrum types.

Your donation will be used to help teachers work with spectrum children, engage with first responders to ensure safe care, assist in life-long support for job training and hiring resources, and will fund research grants and scholarships at top colleges.

Building Communities

Austin Habitat for Humanity

A long-time partner with Austin Habitat for Humanity, I have had the opportunity to help families realize their dreams of security and stability. Through sponsorship, fundraising, and sweat equity, I have been on more than 15 home builds as part of The Home Depot crew and independent volunteering. This is one of my favorite ways to give back, as the help you provide is direct, impactful, and immediate.
